Supporters. And management doesn't see a problem with this? 
Would not that in and of itself alone be a good reason to turn it off?

    There must be more to this.

However, if the management/ownership doesn't care, I guess there
isn't anything you can do to resolve the issue. This does puzzle me,
from a business standpoint especially.
