[BC] Barix streaming formats, wallwarts, stability

[cldube]

Could someone comment please on if there are any security risks of placing 
one of these devices
on a network, seeing that they work via the internet et al?
I can't find anything in Barix's literature regarding this or what OS they 
utilize.
I can be contacted off the list if that's prefered.
