Battery operated TV that is capable of receiving HDTV signal? Very 
soon (if not already) HDTV decoder ICs will be cheap enough that 
making such portable TV won't be a problem. Of course, you'd have to 
toss your analog one, if you have it. Progress, right ;-) Or 
consumerism (depending on your point of view).
