Jerry, alot are already dark. When I left the Magnolia state in 1977
one could hear quite a few stations across the AM band. Some are gone
(WKPO Prentiss) the 850 in Forest is reported on sometimes. WSJC in
Magee was dark for a time. Rock n roll power house WDDT in Greenville is
gone. My college room mate's station in Quitman is currently dark. My
first fulltime gig WHSY 1230 is gone. There's also atleast one AM in
Laurel that's gone. Looks like Mississippi may be leading the trend.......
