to turn:

Finally, our tax dollars at work! After being subjected to acts
of violence all day long (road rage, people cutting in lines, drug
crazed people barking at the moon, etc.) it would be nice to kick
back, relax, and be able to watch Little House, The Waltons, Davey
and Goliath, The Flying Nun, Touched By An Angel and Dr. Laura.

We need role models, not shameful depictions of performers sans
underwear, indecent exposure, arrests for DUI and evading responsibility,
wild partying. head shaving, face painting and public intoxication.

Our government must act to ensure the public airwaves are used for
moral, decent and upstanding entertainment. We need another Lawrence
Welk (and the June Taylor Dancers), Steve Allen, Captain & Tennille,
Sonny & Cher, Jackie Gleason, Tiny Tim and Ed Sullivan.

Technology should benefit, not demoralize us. Technology brought us
the Internet. Virtually all Internet access is via conduits regulated by the
FCC. We are assured its content is valid and accurate as we place our
trust in our government. Shouldn't broadcasting be subject to the same
scrutiny?
