Thanks for the input.  I am waiting for my client to get back to me on
what he wants to do.  As I see it, he has 3 options:  1) replace the
chip, 2) reset the clock, 3) do nothing and be off a few weeks a year.
Since the client has no tech help, options 1 and 2 require my services.

We'll wait and see.

I have one of those little devils here at WNIU WNIJ and I am faced with
this
same situation. I used a utility from ESE called GPS32, accessed the
clock
via its RS-232 port, and simply advanced it to Eastern Time Zone. This
shoulod work for your client, assuming he's in the same time zone as I
am
(Central). Otherwise, set it to the TZ that is an hour ahead of wherever
your client is. So far, so good here:-) I'll have to get my chip
installed
before April 1st, however :-)

Is anyone there familiar with this box?  I have a client who needs to
know how to manually change the offset for DST until he can get the new
chips ordered.
