[BC] Join us on AM

Ah yes, the joys of working 40 phone with my home brew pair of 250 TH's that
I got out of an old surplus BC610. I caught a home brew antenna tuner on
fire with that baby. It did not impress my father.
That was when I was original K0QXV back in 1959.

Built my first sideband rig when I was the MARS operator at Saran, France.
There were lots of parts available at the transmitter site where I
maintained some real high power stuff.

About twenty years ago I decided that I was not going to have a hobby that
was also my occupation.
