I wish I were still in DOS! To add to the nightmare.....
Last week I manually applied patches from the Microsoft
website as specified by Google/Computer Concepts. One
patch for the XP Pro workstations (3 control rooms, 2
production rooms and network capture machine) and another
for the ACP Server (Windows 2003 Server).
On Saturday night (3/3/07) at 8 pm Eastern time, the
Server jumped ahead one hour to 9 pm. This threw the
logs ahead one hour since all studios were now plus one
hour.
Google has several other stations with the same problem.
At one station, it was self-corrected 4 minutes later.
They have given this the highest priority. So here I
wait for the FCC for 2 AM stations and Google for the
fix for the ACP Server.
Adding to this, at about 1 pm today my phone was cursed.
Every light lit up and was blinking. The LCD screen was
scrolling all kinds of characters and the speaker was
beeping and burping. I know this is all punishment, I
just know it! All other phones were OK. Plugging in and
out solved the problem.
