[BC] Power distribution in the NE

What is wrong with environmentally friendly power plants? Wind power
is a great source, and you never run out of wind, espiecially here in
WNY. The biggest problem is that everywhere they find a good place to
build efficient wind turbines, people are screaming "NIMBY!" No
offense, I really don't know you that well, but you strike me as
someone who would do that too. Everyone bitches that there isn't
enough power or that we should be building environmentally friendly
power generators to replace the coal burning smog producing plants,
but they don't want to see them built where they can see them.

You know what? There's plans to put up almost 50 wind turbines not
more than a mile down the road from me. I don't have a problem with
it. Clean energy! Excellent! But wouldn'ta know, there's people who
live farther away from them than I do, and therefore would have less
impact from them, who are crying "Fowl!" (Pun intended, that's one of
their complaints is that wind turbines kill birds).

I won't even get into the argument by stupid people claiming that wind
turbines 'create' wind.
Idiots.
