[BC] Rules... WHAT rules? HA! HA!

In the days of the 1st phone (I'm old enough to have one BTW and I worked
damn hard to get it), illegal operation could cost you your license, and
thus your job. In the days of deregulation, operators and engineers aren't
required to have any license (post card is not a license in my view).
Therefore, most have nothing to lose. As Chief Operator, you are obligated
to inform management of any operating deficiencies but you have no power to
enforce (47CFR73.1870 C 3). However, at MY station, we operate by the rules
to the best of our ability and it will stay that way as long as I am chief
(regardless of what management may desire).
