It moved to Branson, MO
The last time I was up that way I was shocked to see the disrepair the
Opryland area had become. The amusement park was gone, the shopping mall was
mostly closed. I know a few years ago, there was talk of WSM being sold and
the station flipping to a sports format. I dont see why a bunch of the rich
country artists dont buy WSM and turn it into a 50KW TIS station for country
music. Also when the Nashville Network eliminated all their Country
programming that hurt tourism at Nashville too.

Frank,
The one held here in Nashville was a pure joke. There was hardly no
discussion about community affairs and broadcasting. It was nothing but
country artist (George Jones) and a bunch of "no name" song writers
stirring up trouble, griping about station's formats. They still have
WSM, what else do they want?
I think the FCC Commissioners came to Nashville to take a hit from the
country music industry, which is dying. Music Row is almost dead!
