thanks.  Not in the position right now where I need this; at
the time, PC Anywhere through a VPN into the Clear Channel WAN
was the only option available to me.  

There was dial-up also...and actually when PC Anywhere locked up
you were able to reset the remote machine (where it locked up)
by dialing in.  We had an external device; and if the modem
couldn't answer (it wouldn't if PC Anywhere was locked up); it
would reboot the computer and life would be good again.

FWIW - the computer that we used for this was not the "on-air"
machine - but through that we could connect and control any of
the five stations in the cluster.
