  He doesn't own the station, and is not authorized to make purchase
decisions, so why bother arguing with him.

  If the move doesn't happen, maybe Robert M. should buy the station for
his retirement project for WCBS. (HA!)

If you have that much of a bubble each month, you have enough to buy a 
brand new TX easily. Or stated another way, it cost less to purchase and

run a new unit than it does to keep the old tube unit alive. In the 
particular situation where a station is planning to go dark in the near 
future then (and only then) it might make sense to allow the tube box to

chug along.
