Here's a possibility...two separate services.
One service will be 100% commercial free - and priced accordingly. $17.95
sounds about right.
The other will be a lower priced service that includes mostly commercial
channels. Perhaps $6.95 a month.
This way they get the best of both worlds.
And yes, with the right content, a 7 dollar service WILL clean radio's
clocks!

What I see missing in this discussion is how this will impact terrestrial
broadcasting. You all seem to be concerned about XM's and Sirius's problems,
and forgetting that these guys are out to eat our lunch. If it becomes
easier/better to listen to satellite radio, that's money out of OUR pockets,
and food out of OUR mouths.
