How would that be possible? I would think the opposite would be true 
as the surviving technology has to squeeze many more channels into 
the same space in space. I wonder if either one has the ability to be 
repurposed remotely. Could they sell the satellites for use in other 
services? I can't see tremendous savings in keeping them both operating.
