It depends on where you are. The only way I can receive IBUZ is with 
an attic antenna. You're correct. The average consumer isn't going to 
erect an antenna for their clock radio. The IBUZ signal is 1% of the 
analog, so we're dealing with low power. Some claim that 1% digital 
is equal to 100% analog. I don't find that to be true, since I get 
clean analog where I can't get digital. It's a combination of low 
power and deaf receivers.

Since I've taken an interest in the consumer side of this technology 
I have put up an attic antenna. I still have reception problems.
