The HD signal will be receivable to about 60dBu on FM and the 2mV on AM in 
most areas.

Outside of that, or if the signal is obstructed or degraded at the 
reception location, enhanced reception equipment will be required to "hear" 
the HD signal.  The would include exterior antenna equipment.

I can see it now...consumer loop antenna for AM's.
