Entercom's VP of engineering decreed months ago that all digital
content, whether on the air or online, was to have the same priority as
a transmitter off the air...otherwise known as "drop everything else and
fix it."  If this tech is to have any chance at all, every station
running HD has to adopt that attitude.  Listeners who just spent a few
hundred for a new radio, only to be confronted with audio defects or no
audio at all for any length of time are, to put it mildly, not going to
be impressed...and as Willie has stated, word spreads quickly.
