Well, the one you are a now, WABV, got started in late 1956, I do 
believe, at 1590 kc, with a power of 1000 wonderful watts, daytime 
only.  J. A. Gallimore was the owner, according to my Radio/TV 
Annual.  By early 1961, George W. Settles Jr (who had been the GM in 
1957) was listed as president.  But I see no WINF.  However, in 1962, 
there is a WCKM in Winnsboro-- WCKM was at 1250, 500 watts daytime, 
started in 1961, and undoubtedly it later became WINF.
