We run two X-1000B's and the only failures have been due to phone system
grounding (or lack of). The only complaints I have are some schematic
errors, but nothing of consequence, and the ON LED doesn't reflect the
HV fuse status (an easy mod using a transistor and a couple resistors).
solid - easy service - direct access to the folks that build'em - and a
parts list that has Digi-Key part numbers makes it pretty easy.
And Ernie shows up on these lists regularly.
