Back around '85 I called Gates a couple times about problems with the 
BC-5P series and wound up teaching them about the set with what Cal 
Applegate taught me.  They didn't even know about the 
differences  between a P and a P-2.  They always ended the 
conversation with "You will call us back and let us know what you 
found, OK?".  Well I didn't!
