I am not knocking Harris/Gates as I have had good luck with many of their AM
and FM products.

However, I remember having to replace several 4CX250B  IPA sockets, in an
FM-20H3, due to shorted, integral screen bypass capacitors.  After the
replacing the first one, the fact that I had to do it again always made me
want to cry.  Can you spell all-nighter with sore back for a week and solder
burns on your face?  It also helped if you were really near-sighted.  A
great task for a masochist.
