[BC] Odd places for SW receivers

For two reasons: First, diversity. Owners of these products
would be exposed to the many diverse cultures who broadcast
on the shortwave bands. Second, wide area marketing. The
boom boxes could be sold worldwide where shortwave is a
popular medium. Rather than manufacture two different models,
it is less expensive to include SW in one release.
