I have a 1996 M Street Digest "Radio Directory" that lists your station 
as 1.5kW.  Was that an error?  Wouldn't surprise me if it were. Good 
luck on the increase.

And for Willie's comment about no-tune ham gear producing 200W from 1.7 
to 30MHz ... a local, Bob Curry, KC3VO, has modified a solid-state kW 
rig for Yaseu? to extend its coverage to 54MHz. He's the main 
transmitter guru at WHUT-32. You may have seen him at Dayton and 
elsewhere with his one kW motorcycle mobile - part towed in a little 
trailer.
