[BC] Analog to mp3 converter?

Well, I don't know about doing it real time, but, if you have only a few 
sound files to convert... one way to do it would be with a free program 
called Audacity.   This program would allow you to save your audio in MP, 
wav, ogg vorbis, then e-mail / play / network the sounds...

   If it's 'real time streaming audio' you need, I wonder about finding 
anything other than a -real processor- to do it and sound decent... I'd 
suspect someting along the lines of RealMedia encoders or Windows Media 
encoders to do it for you...
