Yes!  The D.C.O. can make the entry rather than the operator was my 
point.  The assertion was that entries require a signature, date and 
time entry.  My point is the entry does not have to be made at the time 
and date of the EAS activity.  This supports the assertion made my Kevin 
Kidd (I believe) that  "No requirement for the operator to sign for EAS 
activations that I know of.  The only signature required [73.1870] is 
the Chief Operator at least once per week to review logs and certify 
that the equipment and logs are working properly. He is indeed correct.
