[BC] Automation suggestion needed

OK, questions from somebody who knows nothing about Linux (other than the
fact that I own a little bit of stock in Red Hat):

1) Can I network the Rivendell computer with my Windows machines in order to
transfer logs, files, etc?

2) Can pcAnywhere run on it for remote access?

I looked at the demo and it looks impressive.
