[BC] Worst engineering ever

I recently stumbled across a picture of a CSI 20K that I had the
displeasure of trying to maintain about 10 years ago.
NONE of the overload or control circuits worked (in fact only 1 relay
was installed - maybe just for looks) and the plate on/off control relay
was replaced with a piece of zip cord stuck into the relay socket (quite
visible in the picture). The 'legal' on/off was exciter muting and the
functional on/off was the plate breaker (which would trip at the most
inconvenient times).
I remember replacing a bad feedthru into the PA cavity and when we
restarted it I thought something smelled a hot - my helper looked around
back and saw that he forgot to put the back on the PA cavity! Yes the
tube 'survived' it (maybe 30 seconds at power and nearly no cooling).
I did try to restore the control circuits but they were too far gone to
fix in the time available.
Yes this was a very small market.
