I am enjoying this thread immensely! It helps many of us appreciate where we 
are, now. :)

Gotta love that Mr Microphone one, tho... bull stinkies or not, that's 
*funny*!

Using a Ramsey as an exciter... they could do worse!

Dropping mics and/or patch cords out windows? Didn't Tony Orlando & Dawn make 
a song about something like that? ;) (Knock 3 times)

Leaving an FM tx in a cardboard box? That's *bad*! :P

It reminds me of an FM in CT, which used to have a metal cabinet mounted to a 
telephone pole... with a single-bay antenna at the top. That was their TX 
site for many years. Now, they have a beautiful, proper building & tower. I 
haven't seen the inside, tho, only the outside. What a far cry from that pitifu
l 
thing they used to have! When they switched-over, the signal improved quite 
dramatically, as one would imagine!
