[BC] RE: Equipment Hall of Fame/Fry's

The Fry's by us (the one closest to Naperville which Kevin is referring) is
a joke when it comes to parts and related supplies. After going there about
1/2 dozen times looking for fuses, resistors, caps, and basic IC's the past
year, I gave up. The shelves have at most one or two of anything, and most
of the time are out of stock. This also includes tools and other basic
staples. And forget about calling there....

I also echo the apparent of enthusiasm by staff there. It's seems their job
is a paycheck. There is a demoralized attitude there from it being a NYC
operation and being ignored for the most part when they want to stock
things more relative to the local conditions. If it's not in corporate's
stocking model, forget it.

There is something to be said about being everything to every one. This
store isn't by any stretch of the imagination.
