anyone
else top this?
Several years ago, I LMAed one of my stations in Mississippi to a guy who
ran the Sunday morning church service by placing a microphone next to the
telephone receiver. (The church audio arrived via POTS line). Needless to
say, this sounded like hell.
This same guy also couldn't figure out how to hook up the STL after he moved
the studios, so he used a really low-quality Internet stream to get audio to
the transmitter. It sounded like hell too.
I took the station back after he defaulted on the LMA contract. But not
before he stole a lot of my equipment and apparently sold it on e-bay. When
I sued him, he filed bankruptcy.
