As we are co-located I just stuck two opened paper clips in the F-connector
and bingo Jones is happy :-)

No mono per se. Just use the left + and right - for a mono feed.

Yes it is a deep chassis, I had to mount them in the lower part of the racks
since they would not clear the punch blocks behind the old Jones receiver.
BTW have you connected an antenna to it yet? (so mother Jones can listen?)
