Jeff:

If you are constrained to buy new then it looks like the Jensens. But if you have a more liberal policy on "parts" then I know of a source for 111C's not too far from you.

On the other side of your question, a separate loop for signaling would work just fine, I suspect, using the Broadcast Tools touch-tone encoders and decoders. I bought a pair to use on an STL subcarrier in order to relay a Premier program from another station. We couldn't get the program reliably here because of satellite TI. Before we got the STL built, though, telco turned off that particular carrier.

Had to use the encoders for a month over a much shorter path (studio to studio)when I lost a satellite receiver. At my combined site I didn't want to run a 100 feet of 25 pair cable over/under and around about between studios just to relay triggers. For one thing, too much wire hanging on the input to a computer card. So I used the tone encoder/decoder over a single pair.

Works fine most of the time. There is a finite amount of time needed to trigger the encode tone, and with live programs sometimes the DJ's on the other end in Dallas don't hit the button long enough to key the relay solidly. But I've had the same problem with the satellite receiver connected directly into the automation computer. On a produced show (Delilah) I never missed a cue using this system.
