Paul;
I don't know if you realize it, but you are picking
fights. Fights with your Engineer (Maybe)...
"hey i thought we just discussed this same item over the phone???
 bill"

and whats up with

And now with other (way out of your league) members who don't
generally mind helping you or me out, but will not put up with attitude at all!
unless maybe it's coming from their friends from the list.

I myself have a fine (under $200.00) laptop i'm on right now!
and if you paid more than $50.00 for a used desktop, it's not
their fault....

You are just getting started in this end of the business so nobody expects
you to have the money to do even one tenth of what is suggested.
That being the case you listen (read), take the knowledge, set goals,
But don't butt in. All others on the list could easily mark any/all your message as spam
and never see your messages, then where are you gonna get help?

Understand, I'm glad that i've been able to help you a little with some material things,
and my intent right now with this is to help you in a different way. (Diplomatically)
I have stood up for you ,on the list, and privately, when you left the list before.
We all have a place, I am learning mine (not the alpha dog, cant compete.)
This coming from "The least of these." _Rx.

P.S. I think an apology to Dana is in order. He's submitted a really great
solution to a very bad ( I have some experience with this) problem.

To the rest on the list, I'm sorry if i've stepped out of my place with this, _Rx
