You could have the "best of both worlds" if you have, say, a wireless
Internet unit and a laptop with Cool Edit or Audacity, etc, installed... record
some
"live" bits, then upload 'em to the station, where they can be edited,
processed, etc, and the best parts used on-air between songs, etc. It can make
the
whole thing sound a whole lot more professional, and still give you that "live"
feel... without any of the risks! :)
We've done only a handful of "remotes" and have used similar techniques.
