Does anyone actually think that modern vehicles, with their pollution
control equipment (mass airflow sensor, intake air temperature sensor,
coolant temperature sensor, barometric pressure sensor, throttle position
sensor, fuel injection, O2 sensors, catalytic converters, PCV system, and
sealed fuel tanks with vapor recovery), are actually 'polluters' in the
classic sense of the word ? Like the early 60's cars did with the 'road
draft tube' spewing crankcase fumes and the gas tank leaking vapor in the
sun ?
I mean, anyone other than the moon-bats who think that a vehicle should be
able to burn hydrocarbons and NOT emit CO2 ?
One of the first things I learned in Chemistry was:
hydrocarbons + heat = water + carbon dioxide.
Good grief, the next thing will be a ban on the water dripping out of the
tailpipe on cold mornings !
