If you want to spend the $$$, you could build a Solar array. 
If you have a nearby brook or stream, perhaps a waterwheel.
There are also some D-I-Y windmill setups available.

If I had the $$, I would *love* to build a Solar array. 
I just think that Solar power is the uber-geek *cool* thing. ;)
