[BC] Scientific Atlanta dish extenders

I too, think that it would not gain much. By the way, Viasat has purchased
the Scientific Atlanta satellite antenna business. Viasat has parts for old
SA dishes, we have recently purchased some for a dish that had a run in with
a front end loader. So, maybe they have the extenders if you want to try
them.

Craig,

I never installed that kit myself, but I had several dishes that
operated fine (and still are) without it.

Two engineers told me they didn't think it made any positive difference
because of the innacuracy of the metal curve by the time all was
installed and tightened down.

Is your experience any better?

Best!
