[BC] Memphis station and shots fired

>From the Memphis Commercial Appeal, today.  Flinn Broadcasting is a set of 
stations owned by Dr. George Flinn and is a regional broadcast group that is
growing a little at a time.  This is pretty common in this part of town.
Drive by crime in Memphis is some of the worse in the nation.



'local radio station has hired extra security and added lighting after an
office was hit by gunfire late Tuesday. 

No one was hurt. 

According to station officials and Memphis police, the shots were fired into
the sales office of Flinn Broadcasting at 6080 Mt. Moriah about 8:30 p.m. 

Two DJs called police, who found nothing. The next morning, employees found
several bullet holes, as well as a riddled coffeepot. 

"Just today we found out that a radio transmission line got hit. They're all
still on the air," said station general counsel Shea Flinn. 

"We think it's an isolated incident," he said. 

The police report alluded to a possible feud between one of the station DJs
and a local rapper. Flinn wouldn't discuss whether that had anything to do
with the shooting. '
