The last time I looked KFBC / 1240 in Cheyenne, WY was using a
slant-wire fed grounded base tower of approximately 90 degrees in height
for both day and night ops. They are 700 watts unlimited time. There
were several land mobile type antennas sharing the tower as well.

Weren't the vertical wire alongside the tower feed arrangements that
have been mentioned generally called either gamma or omega feeds
depending on the arrangement? I have seen several text references to
these.
