Very, very seldom...but, the antenna is equipped with a de-icer, and we used it
at least several times per winter. Lots of moisture coming off the ocean, and at
that elevation (3550', plus about 80' for the tower, IIRC) it could ice.

That's got to be neat... I watched a show on cable a few months ago about the
building of the Mackinaw Bridge--I think it was a "Modern Marvel" on the History
Channel. That took some nerves of steel to build, that's for sure...
