Hi Scott, there used to be a two tower DA at the current site but most of
the property has been sold off and a seniour citizen housing complex has
been built there. For a long time the station still had one tower of the
old array in use and then a cell tower replaced it. I'll post a pic of the
feed. It has really amazed me how this thing gets out. Give me a day or so
and I'll go by and take a pic or two. The 5 KW CP probably wont be built.
It was to have been co located with 930 which is a 5 kw 4 tower
parallelogram. The 930 has recently been sold to Salem (Caron) and I do not
believe they will agree to the colocation. There is also a 500 watt 2 tower
DA on 1280 that is going to be in the same boat here soon.

Paul,
Is this something temporary they are doing? I see where they
have a CP to go 5 KW, directional. Personally, I like the slant wire
antenna. Makes it easier to co-located other service on the tower. I
understand that the commission won't allow this anymore.
Phil made the statement that if done right, it works well, does
it still work in sort of a directional mode.
