I have no choice. We have no cable or DSL service down here in the
Boondocks. All satellite all the time.
It's those monsoons again! That rain fade is killing you Barry! <LOL>
Seriously, as you know we have rough weather situations down here in Dixie
but it's rare when I lose contact with Dish Network or with WildBlue, my
2-way internet service. WildBlue uses "spot beams" utilizing the KA-Band on
Anik-2. I never lost signal during a pretty severe thunderstorm a few weeks
back. Even I was impressed. :)
