[BC] Digital Walkman?

Perhaps I hit an off night. I don't recall hearing anyone, but didn't listen for more than maybe 20 min. The music did sound good though. I was more interested in getting the dial calibrated at that point. Is this the same Jackson Armstrong or "Jackson with ya" that has worked on the east coast for 35 years or so?
If so, he was in this market a couple times on several stations. I should have recognized the voice. I'll have to try it again some night.

>>Wow. Grew up listening to WKBW - the WWKB call is relatively new. WKBW
>>was "rock" in the late 60's/early 70's.

A few months ago, I was working on an old AM radio. The dial was out of
calibration I was trying to find a local talk station and came across rock
music on AM. I think it was a Grassroots song. It sound great and I
commented to my 10 year old son how this is how radio sounded when I was a
kid and how I spent hours listening to CKLW, WCFL, WLS, WABC and WKBW. At
that moment a KB radio 15 bump aired and I felt like I was back in time. By
the third song I realized it had to be automated and there would be no
personality to entertain.
