[BC] something for each site

No, but remember those pricey Excelite tool kits, probably still
available.

I would use those aluminum suitcases or the road cases with some foam to
keep the stuff from moving around. We have packaged wireless mic kits
this way.

Years ago in the heyday of land mobile, What's a cell phone? Oh you
mean, IMTS base/mobile. I had my whole shop in specialized camper shell
on a 3/4 ton truck, complete with AC generator. Everything had it's
place or it was gonna float around and break. Boss got really upset if
you broke your IFR or Cushman, plus you couldn't do your job. So it
always had a special place!

I still see plenty of people use this approach to field service on stuff
that isn't throw away.

That is a good idea.... and one I've used at several stations where
there was a real management problem with spending for tools.

I like the idea of a good case for the specialized stuff. Is there
a favorite case you especially like?
