[BC] Changes in the Channels

I just got an Samsung HDTV, and I have been amazed at the picture
quality. I'm running it on raw cable, It was quite interesting to see
what all channels it found on its own. As for the rose parade, I
switched back & forth from CBS's HD coverage to Discovery's Both had
very nice pictures with one notable difference, CBS's cameras had much
more water on the lens. It looked like DHD, was set up just around the
corner a bit further down the route than CBS. If you saw something you
really liked on CBS wait about a minute and switch to discovery and see
it again.
Another thing I've noticed with the HD is that (as expected) it's
delayed behind the analog version, (most of the time) but I've also
noticed the amount of delay varies. Mostly it's about 1-3 seconds behind
but, I have even caught the HD signal about 50mS ahead of the Analog.
Now about these channels it found, thumbing through a bunch of
invald/scrambled channels I found that I could pick up any of the
"I-control" channels as someone ordered them. It looked like about 30
Channels were available for I-control and it would fill in from the top
and/or bottom of that channel group. So if you didn't like the movie the
first person ordered, just wait a few minutes on the next channel up and
you would see the menu come up and someone thumbing through it. Then
Poof up comes the movie. The scary part about this is that their are
obviously some fairly adult movies available on I-Control, That's what
first brought it to my attention as I was wondering through I saw some
pictures I really didn't expect to see on a barefoot TV. (two girls
doing something to a guy in a Santa suit)
