[BC] Changes in the Channels

I watched our Rose Parade Coverage on Discovery HD and it looked, in my
perhaps jaded opinion, pretty darn good.  That said, I am seriously
thinking of dropping the HD package from my Dish Network service.  There
is NOTHING to bloody watch.   
I live in an area where I would have to put a roof top antenna up to see
my local stations in HD (including my own).  At this point with the two
Sat. dishes (DISH Network and Globecast) I have up there, the neighbours
are already thinking I am a branch of the NSA.  Or NASA...or just
weird...Ok there are correct there...but back to my point.
Most of the HD stuff (Sunrise Earth, Rudy Maxa's travel show) OK, seen,
impressed...bored.
Until they start to carry our (all) HD channels of the local services, I
am just not getting the use out of it at this point.  One optimistic
note, it will be interesting to see what Ted Koppel brings to the
Discovery Channel.
