[BC] The State Of Radio Today......

While I understand the underlying point quite well, I have some concerns
how the story was first presented. With no disrespect to the individual
posting the original information, at first blush I got wind of some
righteous indignation. Could it be that the person in the Lotus van
might not have recognized the other individuals? I've passed some pretty
seedy looking folks along roads to a transmitter site and would think
twice about talking to strangers. I can't tell from the original post if
the inoperative vehicle was marked. Further, if the Lotus van was not
where it was supposed to be, then I can understand (while not endorsing)
why the driver did not stop. This incident appears to be more of a lapse
of judgment than an outright attempt to screw a competitor. Matters like
this probably need to be handled by managers at the appropriate levels
of each company. I'm not sure if seeing issues like this played out here
are appropriate other than attempting to tattle on a competitor. There
are plenty more "hobby" boards for things like this.
