I've only driven a marked station van a few times. Almost to a 'T', have
had some polite inquiry from the public, and referred them to the right
spot, gave them a Tshirt or Koozie, or something from the back of the
van.  ONE idiot went on a rampage.. I just listened, nodded, didn't
really answer, and at the end of his tirade, gave him my card (which had
only the main number on it) and invited him to air his grievances with
someone who could help him. I gave the PD a heads- up. We never heard
from the guy. Guess he just needed to vent.
