That is our policy too.  Some bad publicity is good.  Other times, bad 
publicity is even worse. Usually with a station marked vehicle, it's the 
latter.

I drive an unmarked van for obvious reasons, but if I saw another technical 
type in trouble, I'd stop and help to the extent I could.  You never know 
when you're going to be in the same spot.  And because we are in a very 
small community of people, we tend to have knowledge of many people and 
some have longer memories than others.
